We’ve got a new home!

Hello to all you lovely people

As you can see, we’ve shifted from LJ to WordPress cause it’s much more organised for you guys don’t you think? With the tabs above and tag cloud on the right, it’s much easier for you guys to browse and find what you want (: Continue to comment please! You do not need to have a wordpress account to comment.

We’ve imported all our old posts but unfortunately, not the comments )’: So this place is kinda quiet for now, we need you guys to spice it up by commenting yeah?

Major rant.

Sometimes, the two of us get really tired and frustrated while in the midst of making all these graphics cause we question the whole purpose of us doing it. Honestly, we don’t think many people even visit this site, or if they do, only a handful bother to leave a comment. (In which, we are SO grateful to all our faithful supporters and commenters, we really love you guys so much.) Doing all this profit-free really takes time and sometimes, we just feel like closing this site down cause it’s so discouraging when you put in so much effort to create a new design and most people don’t even care. Especially when doing personas, it REALLY is tiring, having to resize a total of 7 different sizes for each design. (I almost went crazy while resizing all of the soshi solo personas. Thats a total of 70 resizes for the whole batch) Worst still, having people host our work at getpersonas.com without our permission and totally scewing up the dimensions.

To reach out to more people, we’ve created 3 art threads at SSF, SFI and SJW respectively. People bother to comment there most likely because it adds on to their post count. But we’re still grateful for all the comments there cause it actually spurs us on to make more, for we know that there are people who actually like our works and want to use them. I guess since commenting here doesn’t technically prove to offer something in return for them (unlike the increase in post count at forums), people just don’t bother. We actually really hoped to just focus on updating this site only, instead of having to update at another 3 other places.

Sorry for the rant, but it’s really discouraging sometimes. T.T
Plus the both of our moods were totally ruined by an argument with this unreasonable Moderator at a cetain forum about our art thread.

Bet only a handful will bother to read this anyway.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

It has come to our attention that our persona have been uploaded to the firefox persona web

Firstly, our personas’ resolutions are not the same as the ones the firefox persona web requires
hence, it’ll definitely look stretched

Secondly, the personas we make do not have to be uploaded to the firefox persona web to be able to use it in your browser
if you read our instructions in the first few posts, you’ll know how to do it

Thirdly, we have stated that we do not wish for our persona to be uploaded to other places
we are fine with you reuploading to image hosting websites for sharing with others but with proper credits

Lastly, we have always appreciated those who comment at our posts, it really encourages us
it is alright not to comment, but if you are taking out our graphics, please comment so we know where you have taken them
and in this case, we could have informed you that uploading to that web would not have been necessary

We understand that the uploading to the firefox persona web page might be because some people thought
that would be the only way to apply the personas to your browsers

However, we would appreciate if such things would not happen again, because there is no need to do so
and this is not the first time such things have happened

AND, just a reminder again, COMMENT IF TAKING OUT, because we’ll know sooner or later if you don’t. ^^
and it won’t be very nice if we found out ourselves.
